Time to get that last Order in before Christmas - #254

I am sure I have mentioned this before, but if not, you MUST get your last order placed in my store by 14th December if you want the delivery in time for Christmas. There are lots of wonderful gift ideas to choose from, be that the, oh so pretty, Love Today Planner (144257) or the Soft Says Card Kit (145466), or something else, there is so much to choose from. Plus the End of Year Sale has some amazing, while stocks last, bargains which are already selling out, so you know what you should be doing right now!

In view of the fact that I could make a project now that uses product that could have already sold out, I am hopeful that today's project fits that requirement. It does use the Quilted Christmas Ribbon, but other than that, all the projects are either in the Annual Catalogue, or are carrying over. It is a really simple project, and perfect for all sorts of last minute gift giving.

I have just heard that from 11pm TONIGHT until 11pm tomorrow, Monday, 11th December, there will be FREE P&P ON ALL ONLINE ORDERS! YAY! Perfect timing to get your Christmas present list sorted out!

Don't forget that the last reservation window for the Stamparatus is open now, so if you want to get your hands on one of these before next summer, remember to hope over to my online store and get yours. If you reserve one in this Reservation window through my online store, send me a copy of your confirmation email and I will send you a special Thank You Gift. If you would like to shop with me and would like a Spring/Summer Catalogue, please complete the form at the bottom of this page.

I am really humbled and grateful for everyone who chooses to order the amazing Stampin, Up! Products through me. I try my best to look after this very special group of people byt sending Thank You gifts every month they order through me, giving them early access to the new catalogue, and so much more. Stylish Chocolate Liqueurs - #253

I bought these liqueur chocolates in a local 'pile it high, sell it cheep' store and they have been haunting me for a couple of weeks while I decide how to repackage them. Then I spotted that there are four different flavours, so it seemed logical to break them up into packs with one of each flavour, and this is the result.

I think it has turned out to be a very stylish little gift, I am particularly pleased with how the tray came together. Just enough bling to be obvious, large enough holes to allow the chocolates to be seen, but also to keep them in place (sort of - watch the video to understand that comment). The Black and White Stripped Ribbon and the Year of Cheer Embellishments finish the boxes of perfectly.

Other than fighting the window sheet - but not too much - this is a simple project to put together and you can make it in any colour scheme to suit your style.

Jars of Goodies, YUM - #252

I bought these square jam jars over a year ago. I think I had the idea of using them for small quantities of jam, but square jars are actually really difficult to fill with jam without getting bubbles caught in the corners. The penny has finally dropped that these can be filled with anything, so chocolate balls it is.

I have Christmased them up a bit (is that a word?) by adding some Be Merry Designer Series Paper (the one we all forget about because it is in the Annual Catalogue) some ribbon, green sprigs and mini bows. I think they really work, and you can fill them with whatever you want. Perfect for table presents, teacher/colleague gifts, or 'just because' gifts.

Remember that a lot of the Christmas items are now 'while stocks last' so if there is anything you want, don't hang around get it ordered NOW. Also, if you want anything in time for Christmas, the last day to order is 14th December, but I highly recommend doing it sooner if you want to keep your blood pressure in check.

How many of you get the '& More'?, I will show you - #251

Am I alone in not really getting the whole & More' bit of 'Memories & More'? I suspect not, so I have grasped the nettle and made a Christmas Card using some of the Merry Little Christmas pack. I had already used some of the cards for my December Daily album, so there wasn't a huge choice of cards left, but there were some really pretty black and white ones with pine trees on, so I chose those.

Merry Little Christmas Memories and More

I added some colour with the cardstock mat, glimmer paper mat and the stamping, all in Real Red. I added some extra sparkle with some Dazzling Diamonds added on top of some Fine Tip Glue, which was just scribbled around the outline of the trees. I used the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper as an additional mat to pick up on the black and white.

I am really pleased with how the cards have turned out and they were really quick to put together; I will have to try some more with a full pack of one of the other sets very soon.

This is Literally a Hug in a Mug! - #250

The end is in sight! Saturday sees the end of my Christmas Craft Fair season, just one more and I can start concentrating on our Christmas.

Hug in a Mug Gift Wrapping

Today I am bringing you a gift idea, but it is the wrapping that you should be concentrating on, not the contents. Whatever you decide to put in your gift packaging, this could be the packaging solution you are looking for; and it is so simple. Just a couple of bags, a bit of really easy stamping, some colouring and some ribbon.

All our Cello bags are food safe, so whatever your gift is, this is an ideal solution.

Now a word of warning!!!!! The End of Year Sale has started, but things are already selling out. I mention some products in the video, that are already gone!!!! So don't hesitate. If you want it, get it in your basket and checked out before you are disappointed. Just hope over to my online store and take a look at what is available. There are some items from the Annual Catalogue discounted too.

Gift Card Perfection - #248

This is one of the projects I had meant to include in my Advent Series, but life got the better of me, just for a change, and it got missed. So here it is, the perfect (she says modestly) Gift Card holder. I accept it is not totally original in its design, but I hope I have given it my own little twist.

Gift Card Holder Merry Little Christmas and Christmas Around the World

What doesn't show up in the picture particularly well is that the Basic Black card stock has Clear Wink of Stella spritzed over it to give it a wonderful shimmer, which works perfectly with the Champagne Foil. The Designer Series Paper is Merry Little Christmas, which is a perfect pack for carrying over into non-Christmas projects too. The original version I made uses the Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper, which is fast becoming my favourite, I am on my third, or is it fourth, pack already.

The basic design works with any 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper, and has the added bonus of getting two from one sheet. I have listed the products I used for each project separately so they are easy to follow. This is the list for the Christmas Around the World:

And this is the list for the Merry Little Christmas version:
