Balloon Adventures in a Free World

Writing Posts and planning projects is always an interesting process, not least of all because I am often doing this some days before the result 'goes live', so I sometimes get inspiration for the project by what is going on around me, thinking it will be quite topical when it comes to posting. Then I find that everything has changed. Like this time.

This project came from one of my afternoon walks with my husband. Because we both work from home, we try to make time each day for each other, and ideally that includes a walk. It was only last week (as I write this) that the weather was cold, but crisp and still, and it reminded me of the days when we see Hot Air Balloons drifting over our village. So I pulled the Lift Me Up Bundle (remember, bundles are always 10% off!!) and the Carried Away Designer Series Paper from Sale-a-Bration (more saving!!). As I type this, the weather is damp and grey, what a change in a few days, but at least the card reminds me of the brighter weather.

Although the resulting cards look a bit intricate with all the paper layering, because the dies are so clever, that is all worked out for you - simple. As you will see from this card did not take long to put together, particularly if you ignore some of my general chatter!!
