Christmas Craft Fair - Stunning Pictures

Today I am attending the Christmas Craft Fair at Mill View Garden Centre in Wheatley. For anyone who is not from Oxfordshire, this is a large village just outside Oxford, and the venue is where I do my Coffee and Card events every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
The Fair is on all weekend and is going to be a blast. There are an amazing variety of stalls, but the key to this one is that they are limiting the number of each type of stall. This should mean that everyone has the best weekend possible.

Needless to say, I will be taking along lots of the projects I have shared with you over the past few weeks, including my Advent Calendar Trees (pictured below) and a few pictures, including two inspired by a couple of fellow Team members, one of whom brought her example to our crafternoon the day before OnStage.

I LOVE these cuties, and they really are quite straightforward to put together. I used a Night of Navy background for the smaller one and Basic Black for the larger one. The stars in the sky are simply holes punched using the 1/8" Circle Punch. The scene is made using the Hearts Come Home dies and Shimmer White card.

Normal Service will be Resumed Shortly

Well THAT was a surprise! I had in tended to post more about the Stamparatus today, but it has proved so popular already that the first Reservation Window was closed in under 30 minutes. This is because the manufacturer had confirmed the number of units they would be able to produce in time for shipping to take place in early February. So, although they are being manufacturered to order, there was always going to be a finite number available.

There are two further Reservation Windows prior to the Stamparatus being launched officially in the next Annual Catalogue, see the table below for these dates. If you missed this window, you can still trserve one for delivery during Sale-A-Bration by setting an alarm for 9pm GMT on 5 December.

RESERVATION WINDOWSAVAILABLE TO SHIP
16–30 November 2017Approx. 1 February 2018
5–30 December 2017Approx. 19 March 2018
15–30 January 2018Approx. 15 April 2018

I will be back either later today, or tomorrow, with a 'normal' post for you all. See you soon!!

Oh and if you want to make sure you never miss a blog post, please subscribe to my blog by email. Just pop your email address in the box at the top of this page (on the desktop version), go through a couple of standard security bits (to protect YOU), and you will get an alert in your Inbox every time I post!

If your order is over £25 (plus P&P), please use the Hostess Code:

All I can say is that you NEED to reserve your Stamparatus NOW!

Tonight at 9pm GMT, you are able to reserve your Stamparatus. This is like no other Stamp Positioning tool out there. It has four, yes FOUR surfaces. It has movable plates. It has flipable (I think I just invented that word) plates. It can be used with Photopolymer or Clearmount Red Rubber Stamps. I am not sure it can make you a cup of tea, but I'm sure it will try!! Watch the video here:

You can find all the information you need to reserve yours HERE and a list of Q&As HERE

But you know what, just Reserve it by going to my online store at 9pm GMT, so click the Sunflower below, select the Stamparatus Page and follow the instructions above to get yours delivered to your door in February. Be one of the very FIRST people to experience this amazing tool.

There are a couple of things to remember; you won't pay for this item until it is due to ship and you finalise your order. You will be able to add additional items to your order when your Stamparatus is due to ship AND just in case you need a further incentive, anyone who reserves a Stamparatus in my online store in November and forwards a copy of the confirmation email to me at liz.yuille@artlover.com will receive a pack of goodies in December as a Thank You! This is in addition to your usual Customer Gift for any other order you place in November - and trust me, you are going to want to place at least one more order in November (but more on that tomorrow)

Once your new toy is ready to ship you will be sent an email or text to let you know. At this point you can go into your Account and add any other items you may want to ship at the same time (and save on postage) AND if your new toy is shipping during Sale-A-Bration, you just need to add one more item to your order to get a FREE product from the new Sale-A-Bration Catalogue (which is jam packed full of AMAZING items)

There will be two further reservation windows, just in case you are able to wait!!

RESERVATION WINDOWSAVAILABLE TO SHIP
16–30 November 2017Approx. 1 February 2018
5–30 December 2017Approx. 19 March 2018
15–30 January 2018Approx. 15 April 2018
As a Customer, you can reserve ONE Stamparatus in each Reservation Window. As a Demonstrator, I can reserve THREE and get a DISCOUNT, so if you want more than one of these the best thing to do is to join my team so you get all the perks of being a Demonstrator.

My OnStage Experience and my Goals

You will know that I attended OnStage in Solihull last Saturday. This was an amazing experience, not least of all because I was honoured to have been asked to present one of the new stamp sets that is to be launched in the new Spring/Summer Catalogue in January. Now let's just get this done! I forgot to bring my samples home, and as I started a new job on Monday, I have NOT had time to replicate them since I got home. What I did manage to do on Sunday, was a quick FaceBook Live summarising the amazing experience that I had, and it is this that I want to share with you here today.

The next thing I want to share, and I don't say this enough, probably because I am a British woman who has been brought up not to, is this. I have worked so hard in the past year to build up my business and I love it. I love my customers and I love my Team. But I have some goals that I really want to reach and to do that, I need more customers and I need a larger Team. It is as simple as that. Without the support of others, I will get no further. That's not to say I don't love what I am doing now, neither is it to say that I am not incredibly grateful for those who are already supporting me, but I have a goal, and to reach it I need more customers and a larger Team.

By this time next year (well actually by the end of September next year) I want to have promoted to the next level and, ideally, have earned the Incentive Trip, which is an all expenses paid cruise around the Greek Islands.

So what am I saying? Well, if you have enjoyed my videos and you live in the UK, please consider either becoming a customer, or, if you want the best deal in the catalogue, why not join my team and get an incredible £130 of product of YOUR choice for just £99 including Postage and Packing. Joining Stampin' Up! has no real obligations; you get the best of both worlds, all the same benefits as a customer, plus a discount!! There are minimum orders to meet, but for most hobby crafters these are not a stretch. And if you don't meet the targets, you just become a customer again (but get to keep everything you have bought or earned along the way! Get lots more information HERE

That's it nothing more, just that.

Inspire.Create.Challenge 005

Today sees the fifth of our Challenges and it is a Sketch Challenge, which is one of my favourites as it gives enough inspiration to set the creative juices going, but is not too restrictive.

Bundle of Love and Beautiful Bouquet Eclipse Card Stampin Up

As you may know. This year sees the 10th Anniversary of Stampin' Up! coming to the UK, but what you may not know is that today is also the 10th Anniversary of my Team Leader signing up as a Demonstrator; one of the very first in the UK. It seems appropriate to mark these milestones in today's project, so I have taken the sketch and used the feature circle to mark this amazing number, with my first Eclipse Card. To take part in this challenge, just click on the sketch, which will take you straight to the website!
I knew that I had to use shades of pink for this card as the lady concerned is a great fan of this colour. She doesn't mind which shade, as long as it is pink - and the Team is called the Pinkies as a result! Having made the decision about the colour, and knowing that I wanted to include a foil, I instantly went to the Bundle of Love Designer Series Papers and pulled out one of my favourite designs. I stamped in four shades of pink on Very Vanilla with the floral images from the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set, die cut with the Layering Circles and Large Number Dies, added the Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon and I was good to go.

Bundle of Love and Beautiful Bouquet Eclipse Card Stampin Up

I actually made two of the same cards, because I also want to send one to our wonderful Country Manager, who has been with Stampin' Up! since it opened in the UK. Both these ladies are amazingly supportive and hard working. They both know the right thing to say at any moment and I am delighted to have them in my circle of friends. And, yes, I have used lots of Gold Foil, but they are both worth it!

I hope I saved the best until last Advent Bonus Project - #240

I know that Advent really only has 24 Days, but I need to share this project with you, so I hope you will forgive me. I admit that the numbers I used are Contraband, but to get the right size, there was no choice, so please forgive me for that too.

This is really not a complicated project. It is one that takes a little time as you do need to make 24 boxes, but they are fairly simple boxes, so it is just the repetition that you have to address.

Remember the layers are three, six, five, four, three, two and one. I stuck each layer together individually and made sure they were fully dry before I then stuck the layers together. I encourage you to use a wet glue (obviously my recommendation would be TomBow Multipurpose Glue) if you want this project to become a Christmas Tradition; it will withstand the variations of temperature that stored Christmas decorations are likely to have to put up with.

Do I see some Wise Men? Advent 24 - #239

This is a stamp set I was not going to get, but I had some Stampin' Rewards to spend and thought I would get this - it was free after all, so a real bonus. You do know that as a Demonstrator I get all the same offers as Customers don't you? But I also get some extra Demonstrator ones that Customers don't get, so win, win!
Wise Men From Afar Stampin up Christmas Card

I am really pleased I decided to add this set to my order, it makes such stunning, but quick cards, with just a few supplies. This is going to be a perfect card for my Charity Card Making Challenge in a few weeks. 1,000 cards in 3 days - easy right!? All in aid of the wonderful Ronald McDonald House Charity (RMHC). All the cards I make will be going to RMHC to help them with their fund raising, but I am also hoping to get some sponsorship for the event, to raise even more money for the work they do. If you feel you are able to help with this, you will find all the details here: Sponsorship information

I hope you enjoyed the project. If you need any of the supplies they are listed below, so just click the links and pop them in your shopping basket. Everyone who shops with me gets a handmade card and gift as a Thank You from me, but if you use the Hostess Code, you will also get some free product! Another WIN, WIN!

Tiny Treat Christmas Bauble Advent 23 - #238

There are moments when quick and easy is the perfect way forward; this is one of those. Christmas is a time when you need simple, quick, but stunning projects to wow your friends and family with. What better than a little treat to hang on your Christmas Tree, particularly if part of the project has been done for you.

Tiny Treat Tree Gift

The Clear Tiny Treat Boxes are idea for this. Just put them together (and there are 16 in a pack, so plenty to go around) add a couple of bits of card and Designer Series Paper, some easy stamping, a piece of ribbon and you are done (Oh, and remember to put the treat in the box first!)

Put chocolates, jewellery, anything you fancy in them and you will have the perfect way of surprising your loved ones.

Let it Snow Advent 22 - #237

Have you bought your Merry Little Labels Bundle yet? Remember you get 10% off the combined price if you buy the Stamps and Punch together, just make sure you use the bundle code. Don't think that these can only be used for Tags, just look at this great card. Quick and easy to put together, so perfect for mass Christmas Card production.

Merry Little Christmas Merry Little Label Christmas Card

I have used a slightly different colourway, by using Tranquil Tide for the coloured mat and the stamping, leaving everything else black and white. The Tranquil Tide is clearly there, just not in your face there. Can you spot the Vintage Trim there? I had some left over form Halloween, and wanted to use it up, so this seemed like a perfect project.

Assuming you are reading this on Saturday 11th November, I will be at OnStage in Solihull, so will not be available to answer any queries until tomorrow at the earliest. In the meantime, I really hope you are enjoying this series; I can't believe we are almost at an end, only two more days, or are there???

Huge Prosecco Bottle Box Advent 21 - #236

Now this took some doing in under 30 mins, but we got there. This is such a pretty box for a specific brand of Prosecco (or any other bottle with the same diameter (2-1/2" or 6.25cm). The box is 8-1/2" (21.5cm) tall and has a snug fit lid - and there in lies a tale, which we will come to.

prosecco bottle box year of cheer merry little christmas merry little labels stampin up

I have been wanting to make a box like this for a while now, so have had the bottle (full and unopened) sitting on my desk. I think some of my visitors have wondered if I took a quick drink in the afternoons (trust me there have been moments...but no!)

Now I really should apologies that I have not worked out metric measurements for this one, the imperial ones broke my brain, and some of them aren't actually measurements - watch the video and you will get what I mean by that. But I had to share the project anyway, because I am so proud of it!

Merry Mistletoe Snowflake Advent 20 - #235

I can't believe that I have got so far through this series and still have not used the Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and I mean 'used', this is not just a case of using it but not sharing the projects.
winter wonder snowflake and merry mistletoe christmas card stampin up

I hope you agree that it was worth the wait. I think this is a stunning card with the subtle look of the embossed vellum, a little sparkle and a tiny pop of colour (am I the only one who is loving colouring our rhinestones with Stampin' Blends?)

Other than hiding the glue dots so that the whole card stays together, this really is a simple card and one that will work for mass production, which is what we want right?

Everything you need is listed below and is available from my online store 24/7, with delivery by UPS direct to your door.

Smitten by these Cute Mittens Advent 19 - #234

As soon as I saw this stamp set in the Autumn/Winter Catalogue I knew I had to add it to my 'Want List' (Wish lists are just not in my vocabulary for some reason!). It is so cute and is not 'just for Christmas'. Look at the possibilities when paired with the Bundle of Love Suite for New Born gifts and cards. Too, too cute!
smitten mitten hershey bar holder stampin up christmas

I was trying to get my head around how to turn these into little boxes, when one of my Teamies pointed out a post from one of the US Demonstrators, BJ Peters. I took a look and this is my version of that idea; they are perfect for snack sized Hershey Bars but can easily be adjusted to fit any depth of mini snack.

These really are very easy to put forward, if a little fiddly, and would be great as tree gifts with the addition of a bit of twine or narrow ribbon. And they are SOOOO Cute!

Treat Tubes for Craft Fairs Advent 18 - #233

Can you believe that we are already at Day 18 of the Advent series?? Now that's not to say there won't be a few more Christmas Projects after Day 24, but I wanted to get the series completed in time for YOU to be able to make them in time for December. Today is a Treat Tube project that you will have seen already during Halloween, but I am reviving it again because it is perfect for Christmas too.
Christmas Treat tube table gifts merry little labels

I am so pleased that I have finally found some wrapped sweets I can fit into the tubes so I can sell them on a Craft Stall without worrying about hygiene certificates (a UK requirement, which seems to be different depending on where you live).

I am really pleased with how these turned out and that they use such a small amount of paper and card. Great for table gifts too, and of course you can fill them with whatever you want!

The list of products looks long because I have included products for BOTH colourways!!

Lip Balm Pizza Box Advent 16 - #231

Did I mention that I have a few Christmas Craft Fairs coming up in the next few weeks? I did a couple last year and found that boxed Lip Balm sold really well, so I am hopeful that this will be the same again this year. I was lucky enough to find these little pots on offer at a local store, so that will help too!

You probably know that a Pizza style box is a 'go to' for me, so I was delighted that these came together, particularly as this particular size of pot fits perfectly into our 2" Circle Punch, which makes this so easy to put together.

Although I did make a version using the Year of Cheer Papers, I do prefer the Quilted Christmas with Garden Green and Real Red; they just 'pop' more for me. What do you think? Which do you prefer?

Harvest Wreath and RED Bling Advent 15 - #230

Please don't think that the Painted Harvest stamp set is just for sunflowers (don't get me wrong, I LOVE sunflowers!), it is also perfect for really quick, easy and STUNNING Christmas Cards.

Painted Harvest Christmas Wreath stampin up card

This has to be one of the easiest cards you can make, two stamps, which don't have to be lined up that carefully, add a few red rhinestones (thanks to the dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends marker) and a little bow from the Solid Real Red Ribbon.

Quick easy and perfect for Christmas. Love it!
